You should have the plans for couple of years not to make profit from it.

Depends on how much revenue you're asking about. Probably won't take long to make your first dollar and you may never make a million.

You don't simply make money with AdSense just by adding it to your site. There's a good deal of work involved from optimizing the ads for click through rate and the average amount you make per click to bringing in traffic to your site.

How long will depend on how hard and smart you work at it.

Good rich and unique content and some genuine visitors will give u money flowing from google to your account oftenly

Can you give an example of an Adwords-successful site?

I make $5-$10 a day from two main sites. I make $10-$20 a day from a few other awesome affiliates. Google adsense is nice, but you should find the affiliate that matches your site. For instance, if you run a Hockey site sign up for the NHL Store affiliate program. Run a DVD/movie site? Sign up with Netflix and Blockbuster. Think of the theme of your site, do a search for a major business in that market, go to their website and sign up with their affiliate program.

As far as Google, positioning your ads is key. I make about $5-$10 a day from about 12,000 impressions. One of my sites is growing VERY fast and the other is a slow growth.
