How much money have you made from ADSENSE?

I'm sorta new...

It would be great if someone could share with me what sort of website they use and how effective it is.

Samples of the sites would be awesome too.

all depends on your traffic and the clicks on your ads.

Well, as far as I know, tech sites generally make less AD revenue. Sites with tech-savvy visitors never get good CTR because these guys avoid ADs with single look (instinct !).

But, I've heard that sites based on some other topic other than tech performs well. Tech sucks here. Dating is one of the most profitable. And, don't mesothelioma is much of a "fortune" because I had a site on mesothelioma (for test purpose). It didn't get me the expected money.

Have to admit I haven't made as much from it as I thought I would.

Another forum I am a member of which promotes Internet Marketing one of the main things they advise is when starting an Adwords campaign to turn off the content part because of click fraud. Not sure how serious it is but all in all I have made a few hundred dollars out of it so I can't complain.

if someones really got it, they would know what they are looking for and they arent going to trust some random website about it or even go to one

I think that is part of the problem with adsense as a whole we all know what the high bid keywords are so we go for the content that is going to pay us the most per click. Not always the best way forward?

Hi! Are there any other factors (apart from tech or mesothelioma content) that make a site Adsense profitable or not? Can you suggest any other articles or forums about different types of sites and ways to make money on them?

I make $5-$10 a day from two main sites. I make $10-$20 a day from a few other awesome affiliates. Google adsense is nice, but you should find the affiliate that matches your site. For instance, if you run a Hockey site sign up for the NHL Store affiliate program. Run a DVD/movie site? Sign up with Netflix and Blockbuster. Think of the theme of your site, do a search for a major business in that market, go to their website and sign up with their affiliate program.

As far as Google, positioning your ads is key. I make about $5-$10 a day from about 12,000 impressions. One of my sites is growing VERY fast and the other is a slow growth.

I have made about $800 in about 6 months, but am making about $220 a month right now.
