Google AdSense: Sucks.

After being in the AdSense program for about ten days, I was disabled. Why? Google claims I made invalid clicks using some-sort of tool. Too bad, I only check my amount of clicks a few times per day and have no need to generate clicks. I was already making $15 a day, so why would I bother?
I suspect one of my users was doing it, but they blame me. I told them to check the IPs and they told me that my account would not be reactivated. Well, Google officially sucks in my opinion now.
GG Nubs. Where's the logic in this? I have no way of income now, what do I do? Any suggestions on what to join?

The same thing happened to me one of our visitors clicked an ad to many times and the kept all the money $350 from legit clicks. I agree with you. I dropped my adwords because of this and they sent me an email saying they would give me a $20 credit if I stayed.

Well, they won't give me my account back so I'm screwed. Fastclick declined my application so now I have no ways of income.

the exact same thing happened to me, i had $650 (yes i know its hard to believe but i got screenshots) and then they killed my account because of "fraudulent clicks". i asked for proof and they couldnt give it to me because it would reveal their "secret" way of tracking.

Google kicked me off to, because they said my site was too common. Wtf? I haven't seen ANY sites that are like mine. No matter, I was making under a $1 a day anyways.
I was rejected by ALL other major advertisers, since my site content is to profane and racist for them lol.

LOL
Yeah before I joined they made me censor every post in my forums. I am not ****ing responsible for what is posted in there. At that point, I didn't even want to sign up anymore because they couldn't respect people's rights but I needed the support.

One of our successful sites offers a very good affiliate scheme, £120 ($200?) per sale. They sell IT training courses for around £600 and the service they offer people proves to be very popular. They will also build a catalogue into your site.
If you are interested you can email me at info@cosmic-fx.com.

I'm not interested in per sale because I know it'll never happen. Per click is my style.

Their site sells around 500 courses a week. They build a catalogue into your site and if someone want to buy or enquire you get paid. you can still do your ppc as well!

I don't have any PPC right now and I just don't think any gamers that go to my site will be interested in buying courses.

Josh, why do you have a popup on your site that attempts to install something onto the user's computer? I clicked no and another popup cameup with only an "ok" option. I "X'ed" it out but saw the status bar said 'installing' something. This will make users stay away from your site.

Josh, I agree you should remove that from your site. Especially because you are trying to FORCE and trick user into installing somthing they may not want. Clicking X does not mean Yes of course.
That's one way to really piss off any first time visitor to your site. Of course you can do what you want. Just a suggestion.

Site news: annoying popup installer removed
Most of you probably noticed that if you came to our site within the last four days, you were prompted to install a file. This popup installer was added as a test to see if we could generate any income out of it and hopefully spawn our site even bigger by adding more and more servers. This was merely a test and the popup installer has been removed. I apologize for the inconveince.

i understand your dilemma josh but there is no reason to come to webmaster-talk and start sweraing in posts - remember, we have a lot of younger members here as well
i wouldnt be too concerned about fastclick - ive had very good sites declined from them before - communities and forums are rarely accepted into fastclick unless there is a very very high level of content
which site did you have google on - was it only on twisted portal?

My apologees, I only swore once. I'm more mature than that and I'm ashamed I didn't show it.
I used Google on Twisted Portal, yes. www.twistedportal.com
I'm thinking, I read somewhere that if a new owner comes in on my site, he can sign up a new account. Maybe I can have my friend sign up and cash the money and send it to me?

perhaps some of your members were excessively clicking on ads
you cant blame google for banning an account if this happens because their priority is to the advertisers - and if a certain advertiser is paying a few dollars a click and after a $500.00 campaign they dont get one sale then they not advertise with google again

I've been with Google for quite a few months now and as far as I can tell they have been excellent. Regular cheques every month, reasonable income.. .my only complaint is that they don't pay in UK pounds... still can't complain.

Yes, that's what happened but they should ban that person's IP instead of taking it out on me.

Same sort of thing happened to me, i had $113.75 and they banned it saying I had fake clicks. The silly thing is that I had reported fake clicks to them like 2 weeks before because some stupid f****r was clicking on them from my college. They turned a blind eye and told me their system would pick it up. Then yesterday I got an email saying fake clicks had been detected - well DUH I was the one that told them about it!
