Then it's a layout problem, you have some element set slightly too wide or have borders that make it too wide. as 99% of the real world (as opposed to the webmaster community) it will be why no one clicks the adverts.
It does not matter in the slightest what you use to build the site, what matters is the content and maintaining ONE stable URI where your content is found. Constantly moving around from one freebie host/blog to another is NOT the way to go. Having your own domain name is. you can get hosting for next to nothing so pick up a hostname and stick with it.
stop listening to "friends" they probably read the wrong places. By all means have LINKS to all the posts on the home page but not the contents every post.
Relegate that hosting advert to somewhere else in the site if you must have it at all, it certainly should not be the most important thing on the page {from a visitor POV)
