waiting for activacation google adsense

When i register to adsense the sent me my emaiil i verified it then tryed to log in it then said

"
Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review. Within a week of your application date, we'll review your application and follow-up with you via email. Once you are approved to join AdSense, you'll be able to log in to your account and get started."

This alrite?

Was the email they sent to verify your email, or to tell you your account had been activated?

They haven't approved you yet for your account. All accounts are subject to an initial manual review that can take "up to 7 days".

All you can do is sit and wait and they'll get to you...eventually.

But make sure you are not submitting a site that has already been banned for adsense.
