GOOGLE ADSENSE TRICK or Adsense CHEAT?

I dunno if this is an adsense tricks or adsense cheat? Do u think if i will do this advertisement technique.. my adsense account will get banned?

my friend told me, that this strategy will make ur site generate 4X adsense revenue!

That is a good strategy and having images near the links does work well from all indications. Technically the way its shown in that screen shot is against the TOS. Google requires you put some divider between the images and the ads, like a border or different background colors on the blocks.

That's the official stance, but I see many sites doing just what you have shown and they don't seem to be getting into any trouble at the moment. It's probably a risk though not to include something that clearly deliniates that the images and links don't go together.

Can't you just set up a border through the ad setup, so that you don't have to worry about that?

I'll be honest I'm not sure whether or not that would count. The TOS wasn't very specific. I think the main idea though is it's supposed to be clear the images don't go with the ads and that they are two separate entitiies. Of course the more you make it clear they don't go together the less effective the images will work.

I think there's a balance in there somewhere, but I'm not really sure what it is. You can always get in touch with the AdSense team and ask them to look. They've always been very responsive when I've asked them anything.

I would think using the borders on the ads themselves would be fine though.

I think I read somewhere that it's okay but google would prefer if you put a divider. And also as long as the images aren't pointers or anything like that.

oic thanks a lot... u said divider.. are you talking about <hr> tag or any image that serves as a divider?

can i use a sentence or words, or phrase instead of divider?

I think they mean when you are making the google ad you have to choose a different color form backround or the ad as the border.

Agree with vangogh + numbah1 here (as usual of late!)

IMO, the screenshot you shown is pushing it a little - the ads are perfectly aligned with the images. As long as you don't have it so it looks like you've done it deliberately, there shouldn't be a problem. Oh, and just don't pretend the ads are navigation!

4x? Possibly? 0.5% to 4% could be possible, but don't expect anything too steep.

For a divider space is ok so would an <hr /> or just different background colors. Just something to indicate that the images don't go with the ads. I think the screenshot is technically against the TOS, but I have seen lots of sites set it up the same way and I don't think they've been getting banned from AdSense. Could just be they haven't been found out yet or could be it really is ok with Google.

they were suppose to put borders around the pictures to separate them from the ads to comply with AdSense terms. However, since the pictures are close to the ads it will gain attraction and visitors will click on them.

We've had to get clarification about images and AdSense, as we've recently created a software product in this area.

You do need a separator between images and your AdSense ads. You must not mislead the viewer into believing the images are part of the advertisers ad.

But what counts as a separator? The TOS aren't very specific as what does and doesn't count. I believe the TOS just states you need to make it clear some way that the images and the ads don't go together, but I can think of a lot of ways to do that.
