Adsense running for 2 days, still no payable ads..

On my website fadefade.com which is indexed on google Iv'e had ads running for 2 days, but they are still the ads which show until your custom ads show up.. does it usually take this long?

I don't want to have ads which I'm not getting paid for running..

All people know is that it takes time, Only google will know exactlly how long or the reason you are not getting targeted adverts.

Maybe your page is written in a way that makes it difficult for them to pick a theme, or maybe they have no adverts for your content.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're asking. If you're question is when will the ads become more relevant to your page then it's just like stOx said. It can take a little time and may be you need to provide more or better content to help Google know which ads will fit your page and site better.

You mention though not wanting ads you don't get paid for running though. You don't get paid for any AdSense ads just for running them. You only get paid when people legitimately click on the ads or with some ads when someone simply views the page with the ads. The pay for the page view though is very low.

I'm not sure what you mean by custom ads. Did you mean having ads more relevant to your content or are you referring to the ads people can sign up for specifically on your site?

I guess it was the relevance issue of the ads then. Yeah it can take a little time. I think when I first added them to my site it was 2 or 3 days before the ads became relevent.

Even now there are times when I'll post something new and see ads that aren't relevant to my site as a whole, but I can see how Google picked up on some of my text in determining the ad. Usually though a couple of instant refreshes and the ads are relevant again.

They really do a pretty good job or presenting ads that fit the the topic of the specific post and the overall theme of my blog.

You have to remember that Google serves ads that are relevant to your content. So if you have very little content or content that is not relevant to any ads then you will be more likely to get PSA ads.

I see that the ads are being served for you now, so I only mention this incase you run into the same problem again in the future with another page.
