Anyone offering google video ads on their websites?
I was wondering what the payout for those ads were. And also, do your visitors actually click to watch these videos?
Are you making any money with it?

There would be no way of knowing. Google will serve video adverts along with image and text adverts (iif you have iimage ads enabled). So you will have no way of knowing if people are clicking them any more than you would be able to tell if people are clicking text or image adverts.

Ok. Thanks for the answer.
I think getting someone to click and watch on a video is much harder than getting someone to click on a link.
That is why I think that google video ads would just take up a lot of space on a website and not bring too much revenue.

Yeah they don't seem like a good idea to me either after thinking about it.
Luckaly as far as i can remember there are only 2 ad sizes at the moment that support video ads, and they are the large square formats.

With text ads and image ads the visitor might have clicked it just to find out what it is, But with video ads they can watch a small movie to find out about the site before visiting it.

Unfortunatly for publishers Adsense is a buyers marker, So advertisers always recieve prefrence over publishers.
They get what's good for them, and we get what we are given.
