I would start by not displaying the URL to my website
on forums and telling the members you need clicks.
Because, that's 1 of the ways people got banned from
Adsense. You know, a lot of people on forums try to be
helpful and that's ok. But the bad could be that they're
trying to be helpful by starting to click on your ads. And
if many forum members go from your forumpost to your
website and click on you ads.
Then something isn't going as it should be. A huge amount
of traffic coming in in short time and all those clicks. Hmmm...
Start by providing useful content on a regular basis. Target
a subniche and stay there in the information you provide.
Try to be helpful. The big Adsense earners have shown us
that this works.
If you are consistent in providing useful information to your
target audience they will come back, over and over. They'll
tell others what a great website or blog they discovered.
You see, this has a viral aspect.
Now, don't think things will happen overnight. This takes time
and Google cries for unique and useful content. So, if you
publish on a regular basis, they will index your website and
send traffic to it.
And, also important: stay white hat.
The above is 1 way to get traffic, there are more...
Cheers,
