what will happen if we edit html code

I always wonder what would happen if we edit our google adsense html code. But it could turn out to be a webmaster's nightmare if he is banned for life by google. I want to know that will google know it that we have changed our code. Has somebody done that, if has done it then what happened..?.

I don`t think so that google will ban you. But I am sure that nothing will work if you change/delete something in the codes. Why take the risk?

i doubt they would have a problem with you editing the colour values.
But if you alter the way the adverts are intended to be displayed or behave, you will more than likely get banned..

Most likely nothing will happen, but if it comes to their attention they will ban you for trying. Its not worth it, dont mess with it, what would you want to change anyway?
