Hey, I have a google search script in my website, which is just a little php script that writes a GET url for google and redirects the user there. I have one question though. Today i got google adsense, and i was wondering if i should replace it with the Google-search box instead, in which you earn money. However it would then completely mess up my layout. Because you cant seem to change the text box color, or take off the logo.

Any suggestions? Or something that is legit but wouldn't make my site look bad?

Also I have noticed PHP.net has a google search script, of their own, but they dont have the logo, did they do just like me? Or do they have some sort of deal with google. I'm wondering if they are getting paid. Because 60% of people going to php.net use their search engine to find info.

I just want to be able to put like a few <span></span> tags with style class hooked on it around my google search box, I mean its not too big a deal to have the google logo, but they said "NO modifications, including layout bla bla bla" so im wondering if that is allowed?

Any ideas on whether i should put google search box or keep my old script? I mean the one they have really messes up my layout . Am i allowed to customize it? Or maybe even remove the logo?

i think you could use your own style of box as when you use the nuke script they do this with the search box and they use there own style so cant see there being a problem

ya but it says no mods to the script that google adsense gives. So should i style the google search box code that they give for google Search in Adsense? Or should i just not style it, and keep my own styled custom-google box.
