adsense optimization ?

is there anyway i can put some keyword tags with adsense code ?

its so annoying having gun adverts from google when i have an education website !!

This is generally an indication that your site would benefit from optimisation. If Adsense can't figure out the topic then there is a good chance that Google as a whole won't either.

You can't add tags as such, so the best thing is to look at your title, headings and content as a starting point.

Also make sure the readable text has keywords relating to the site for adsense to spider.

a lot of people are using something beside ontop , or below adsense to make more you should try Chitika look on my sig works well and usually around $1 or more per click

I've looked at Chitika and it does seem interesting. Anyone got experience of getting it to show non $priced products?

Have you tried blocking those advertisers? This can be done through the AdSense site

Could it be that google is trying to get kiddie killers to but their guns online!
They do have "targeted" ads so there is a sentance in your content that google assumes to be about guns, ammo or a closely related subject. You are given the option to filter the incoming ads so just put the offending ads on your filter list.

I have a question about chikita... i find it stupid, because unless you're an e-commerce business why would you use it? Or if you sell a product.

However i've seen it on pixel2life.com and was confused, because it had nothing to do with the site. Why would anyone click on a product about game-boy controllers with chikita, when they are looking through javascript tutorials? (real example)

I find that it doesn't put ads relating to it, (products), what would it be good for? Would people click on the "product" in chitika, unless its a coincidence they want that product a lot, in unrelated content? Can i have some more info about it?
