yeah yahoo should have theirs going in the new year.
It will be an interesting time for ppc when that happens.

One thing that sometimes happens is your competition may click your adverts over and over to get you banned.
Its a shadey tactic, but it does happen.

There are always invalid clicks and even more for popular sites and Google does not wish to bann good money sources !

How does Google make the decision about banning one site instead of another, is this really fair ?

Mine is not banned yet, i guess i could meet that event too !

I was making about $3000 a month. Not really in the FedEx club, but was approaching. I had $5000 in the bank when they canned me. $3300 from August, and $1700 from September.

I did however, find a BUG in google adsense, and will post a complete breakdown of the bug. I have found that on some of my URL's the CRC's and timing codes from Google's script were getting cut off. Yes, Google's Adsense code, directly from their site, was screwing up.

I will post a demo of the bug on the weekend, do some cleanup on my site, then appeal to Google. This bug may not actually be the problem, but I definately found a bug, and can prove it with a very simple HTML page.

Just FYI, I have about 45 websites, and get between 15000 to 35000 visitors a day. My best day was 45000 unique visitors.

Don't worry I know how you feel Google also banned me from Adsense. I had no reason for what, but I went over to Clicksor.

In my opinion, though google has higher rates I feel clicksor is better for me actually because it has net 15 payment schedule and they pay me through paypal.

Message me if you find any networks even better then clicksor...
Always looking to improve, but I am satisfied with clicksor at the moment!

Though everyone complaining about adsense in WT I find lots of people supporting google at SitePoint forums and I also support adsense. I did nothing wrong and I got the check from Google for my earnings.

Speaking from experience, YPN is excellent. Give it a shot.

YPN is excellent. Still no word on when they're opening it to non-US publishers but I highly recommend them, if its an option for you.

Google banned me too, for no apparent reason. How long will they do this and not offer explanations to their publishers? And how long will publishers go on trusting a company that does business this way? It baffles me!

That's all right, Yahoo offers more money per click, friendly phone support, and all-around better service.

Just a note of encouragement. My account was suspended by Google for invalid clicks but was reinstated on appeal a few days later. An unexplained traffic surge did happen on my of my sites for unknown reasons. It was a forum and the traffic went from 200 to 1800 uniques on that day. You should write a polite letter to Google and offer to supply any material that may be needed as evidence.

My appeal came up empty because I was making an appeal without having any idea of what I was being accused of. I'd venture to say that most appeals come up empty when they're holding all the cards and you're holding none.

It is an absolutely stupid system that assumes every publisher is a crook because of the small precent who actually are. The fact that your account was disabled over a SURGE IN TRAFFIC is evidence that it really is a stupid system.

Has anyone out there had good experience with Clicksor? How does it compare to Google? I"ve heard good things about Yahoo and heard that their rates are higher. Whether it will stay that way remains to be seen, of course.

I had a similar experience with adsense. One of my traffic suppliers
was upset that I was cancelling my account with him and started clicking
my ads repeatedly. Appeal denied account cancelled.

I am thinking individual accounts with companys that pay for sales instead
of clicks may be more profitable.

I would like you opinions please. I have several domain names and a few
sites but none have ever generated very much income.

Thanks

Here's how stupid google is and I have a question.

1) I have 2 adsense accounts. 1 personal + 1 for my business

Business account makes $50-75 / day for a nice respectable income.

Personal account makes $5-10 / day for an okay income. However, I developed my site into a blog where i posted music (songs of the day) to people. And since i send it to my entire campus, people from my campus come to my blog and especially the ADD ones click like all of them so my CTR was like 15-20% at the highest. I ended up making around $5k that 1 month. then it died down because of winter break so no one clicked and then when it started up again - my account gets shut down.

Now here's the schemier part - google apparently does not always if ever money to the advertisers? so if they keep say $100 from me for "fake clicks" they still charged the advertisers ... now THAT is pretty scummy
