I have a very high volume site that has a niche in the market. My business is motors and pumps. If you look at my site you will see the drop downs on the top. I'm sure one of the reasons for the high volume of clicks is because many people couldn't figure out the mouseover click throughs, so they just clicked the Google ads that were placed right below them. Since this has happened I have made the site a little more user friendly and added text links on the left side of the page.
Another reason for the high dollar amount is because the ads for this market are expensive. http://www.wwpp.us
I just checked out your site. So what you are saying is that you had your adsense right under you menu and that's why you think you got a good adsense check?
