Hello,
I have enabled adsense for feeds in Google Feedburner.

I can see the adsense pubblcity only if I click on the link of the feed, but if I subscribe to the feed I receive just the posts of my blog without adsense. Is that normal?

Isn't it possible to receive the RSS feeds on my feed reader as well? Eh.. who is going to read the feeds on the direct feed link?!?!

You have to redirect your feed to the Feedburner feed.

Check out Redirecting Your Feed to Feedburner Feed

Hi,
I am already doing it, I am talking about this blog www.security-exchange.net/news

As you can see when you click on the feed you see the ads, but if you subscribe, it doesn't show any ads.
Please suggest on this

That's odd, I see what you mean.

Have you tried changing some of the Adsense settings for the feed, such as displaying ads on posts of any length?

Subscribing directly seems to only be getting about 150 characters a post, which could be your problem.

Note: By the way, try removing the commented out Feed link to the original feed in the header, that might help.

I don't know where to find those options.

Directly? What do you mean? If you subscribe by using this link or this link I receive the full posts and they have more than 150 characters.
And the WordPress option "For each article in a feed, show " is set to " Full text"

What I mean is that if you subscribe directly from the browser while viewing the site, the feed that is shown is not the feedburner version, it's just the plain old xml version, so it seems.

You are using Wordpress, try redirecting your old feed using a Plugin such as FD Feedburner,

I am already redirecting it to the feedburner one.

I could manually change all the links of the theme, but in the META section I downloaded a plugin that makes it for me, so there is a redirection there, and for the rest there is the right link to feedburner applied in the theme, so it must work.

Anyway the ADS are not showing properly...

What's strange is if you are using Firefox and you hit the subscribe button in the URL box it goes to the version without ads.

I think you need to change settings for your ads, check out Changing Settings in Adsense for Feeds that should give you the info you need. I think you need to change the post length setting in Adsense.

Cheers,

At least I didn't get it work by changing the feed URL in http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/community/veikoh/ from original blog feed to feedburner one at http://feeds2.feedburner.com/veikoherne/JbvJ?format=xml
It shows ads only when being in feedburner site but not elsewhere.

That's because Mybloglog isn't going to show your ads, they have their own system for showing feeds, they can parse the ads out.

Apparently Feedburner seems to show two different versions of feeds (at the same link), one is in HTML format, the other is in true XML format (you can see by looking at the source code). The XML format (which can be forced by adding ?format=xml) seems to obey the Adsense settings, for example only show one ad per three posts, etc. whereas the HTML version either doesn't, or it lags behind on any setting updates. This is weird.

I'm not sure how it decides which one to show. But changing your ad settings should fix the xml version.

Please look at my screens and how I see the normal link, and the xml link and how I see it in outlook as well.

Feedburner/Google support is one of the worst ever... you can see questions there never answered from months or even years...

Image one is HTML version. Image two is the XML version. For ads to show in the XML version, update your Adsense settings Changing Settings in Adsense for Feeds. Look for the 'Post Length' option.

I have checked it and it's set to "for every length", to be in every feed and to be at the end of the feed as you can see from here: http://www.security-exchange.net/ima...ed/adsense.JPG
