Suggestions for my web site.

Hello, I have my forum 1 year or so, and what I have earned is aboout 10$!

I would like to ask you what I can do to have more visits and people to write there. For now earning is not my first thought, but I would like more visitors and writers.

Can I ask for suggestions here or in some other section? If here I will give the link.

it's difficult to put support posts if there is no issue...

you know what I mean? Do I have to simulate issues and resolutions?

Statistically forums get a poor CTR ratio of only around 2.5-3%, vbulletin.org had a mine of free info on ad placement, however the latest version of vbulletin has adsense placement built in. Ideal if you only have basic programming skills

I have, very basic... I can just change/move/add php code and very little understand it, but I cannot create new.
I have the latest version of VB. Do you have it also? How I can find the built in adsense options? I cannot...

To make big money from forums, you have to integrate at least 1 banner after first topic and one before the last one, then, creat topics with a "phontome" user (you) that may be can start new replys, try to target your adsense to related keywords and from certain domains to make ads important and not rediculous (Security forums with PHP ads !??).
I'm making 2200$ (last month) from adsense from over all my website (7 websites), and it's growing up, just from simple forum posts !

Oh, I envy you so much!! I am working and I am earning much less than you do for just some web sites...

Great that you can... I was jumping happy two days ago when I received 1 click after so long time and this 1 click was about 2 dollars.

Please help me, some suggestions

Agreed! (Egg) top $$$ on $2,200 per month from 7 sites. I used to have like hundreds of sites, but cut them all back down to 6-7 key sites, now I am beginning to see real dividends, slowly seeing income go up day by day. No point in chasing high paying keyword lists! Far better return writing content about something you love or believe in - even knitting patterns! (And for those who are falling about laughing go to google and type in "knitting" - I guess the 19,300,000 sites on knitting has brought short your laughter....Don't knock it 'til you've tried it!!!!)
Forums can be very rewarding but hard work unless you can battle against the spam - I am it for the long game. e.g. aim: 10,000 hits per day - aim: 2.5% CTR = 250 clicks, aim $0.5 per click, aim: $125 per day = $3,875 (Job killer - well nearly...)

No I have changed the style of my forum to the normal template, where I am sure that it's clean and it can work. For sure you have found many sites with this template.

Now I want to think on how to start attracting people to my forum. I started posting in other forum with my forum in the signature. But I cannot see difference...

Any suggestions related to the subject of my forum?
