Hey, I am experimenting with ad revenue of one of my friends sites. I set this up earlier today. One header banner one link unit and another banner in the forum display.

Now I believe Google allows for 1 link unit and 3 banner units? So would I be able to get away with something like this mod:

It would add an adsense ad after every first post in the forum. It will be 3 ad units, essentially all in the headers. Does this violate anything or should I be safe?

Any way, you can only have 3 Adsense for content units on a single page no matter how you place them. But those placement should not in any way influence the looks of the Ad units. In the sense, users should clearly understand that those are ads and not written content.

I'd worry about my users more than Google.
Putting an ad after every post may drive users away from your site

IMO, you must not succeed on the maximum limits of ad per page

Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage.
