well, i have heard about channels in adsense. what is the use of it?

Does they affect earnings?

Google Adsense channels are useful to track earnings coming from a website. This is more helpful especially if your put adsense code on several websites that you own.

By using channels, this will help you to monitor where most of your clicks came from, which kinds of ads are effective or provide more clicks. If you know this, then you can focus more on that thus may help increasing your monthly earnings.

Thanx for the reply in simple words, i was too confused with whats channel id in adsense

now i can track which website of mine is more valuable so as to get the most and my needful

use url channels for tracking particular sites...

By putting channels on your ads you can track which ad is effective and earning more.

You can see the tracking individually while having several sites.Nop, you won't get affected on earning to channel.
