I recently made a nice blog based around adsense/affiliate program info.

I realise that it's still very new so traffic needs time to build up, however, I already have it listed on google and have added keywords etc.

What's the next best move in terms of getting more traffic? At the moment, I'm getting zero traffic whatsoever. Just wondering if I should post it anywhere? Or apply it somewhere? I don't know to be honest. Just thought I'd ask here.

Yes, backlinks is a good way to start. Submit to as many directories as you can in your niche. Post in forums that you enjoy and hook up with more bloggers.

I don't run a blog, but thats where I would start. Just remember content is king so the more you write the better off you are. But try not to get to the point where you're writing just to fill space. Like, enjoy and even do your niche ie. I know a very successful blogger who camps, he loves it, does it almost every weekend.

To gain real traffic (organic traffic from SEs), you need to focus targeting on keywords that are relevant to your site's niche. Of course these keywords should have high search volume or more people are using them for searching your blog's niche.. You will insert these keywords along with the article you write for your blog.

To get backlinks naturally, you also have to provide your blog with something interesting and helpful to readers, so that if other blog or site owners find them useful, they may also republish it to their relevant blogs including your links..

Create a comprehensive post or a showcase of great photoshopped images (for yur photoshop blog) Submit it to digg, reddit, mixx, discover it on SU n use twitter to promote it. Now, if u don't have an account on these social media, u should. Coz not only this bring huge traffic, they create backlinks too.

back linking is good to gain more traffics.
