My own Google Adwords ads are showing up in my Adsense banner units on my site

I wonder if I am paying for people to click my own ads?

To explain:

People who are already on my site may click my Adwords ads to go to my site.

Why should that be surprising?

After all your pages are going to be an exact fit for your adverts.

It should not be happening but you can go into adsense and restrict your domain from showing on your site.
