I find that my site has increased in popularity in the last couple of months. I am doing all the right things blogs, social networking sites, articles, classified, announcements, etc...

The pageviews are way up. The adsense is down.

I am sure it is due to economic conditions but has anyone else seen the same?

no, i just started with adsense, but i guess it's down.

We have experienced a consistent increase in both visits and earnings until November 13 2008. Since then we have noticed an OVERNIGHT drop in stats:

CTR dropped a full point.
Clicks cut in half.
eCPM down a dollar.

These stats come with a continued increase in traffic, now over 125,000 daily (combined) impressions. Our earnings are down by over $1000.00 (USD) monthly with NO changes in content/keywords/ads etc... This was an overnight drop which has not recovered in a month,

Also, our Adbrite earnings have NOT decreased or faltered at all. In fact, our Adbrite earnings are stronger now than ever. Wouldnt a bad economy effect the advertisers on Adbrite as well?!?

I've read about the impact of the crisis in the revenue of webmasters and found both opinions...people saying that the earnings are lower than before and others saying that nothing happens...personally have not found any significant difference

The crisis might lower the revenue, but honestly if you look at one of your websites fx. http://www.txt2day.com/ then it's naive to think this kind of website design can make money. Improve your website design and improve the way your using adsense.

Interesting that you mention that. The site was acquired. It is my highest earner. I did not want to change it because of its favorable return.

I have boticed some increase since December 1st actually . Well, it probably just depends.

yeah, i think it caused by global crisis. My earning is just $0.05 per day average..Lol

In general, when the economy is down...people will be looking at more ways to cut cost and advertising cost is one that they will look at. If you are not getting the traffic you want from you PPC campaign, you will want to drop those 'cash eating Ads'. If PPC down, so does the Adsense !
