Those numbers may seem unattainable because these guys hit a home run with their websites.

I think a good income would be something that could afford me to stay home (i.e. 8K to 10K per month).

Nah, I'm joking. I think even the big guys are feeling the economy though lately adsense clicks not worth much at all anymore. My earnings are barely covering my expenses but luckily amazon associates is making me more than I ever made with adsense right now.

It's no joke - adsense is going DOOOOWWWWN!!! The only sector to be in is the affiliate sector and the reason is simple - adsense "does all the work" - targets the people for you. Only people who actually make the effort to target the traffic themselves will still be earning good money in 2010. Google will fall, its adrevenue will dry up, microsoft will replace google's online power without trying to re-steal the ad market Google foolishly stole from the affiliate industry 5 or 6 years ago - Google has now lost most of that money BACK to the affiliate industry and what little is left will keep them in programmers for about another year and then thety'll have to go back to stealing empty pc's from their college.

really? that's terrible. anyways, I'm planning to have a site that will make me at least $500 a month in adsense. I think Google is still a big success up until now so I don't worry that much.

yeah, I think it feels very good to if you received a pay check of $300,000 from google's adsense.
