OK, So I'm still in the process of getting all the little bugs and such out of my site.

I have the phpbb forums, and I set it up, so that after the FIRST post, a script makes a "fake" post that has google ads in it...

well the only thing wrong with it is, my site is about PHP, and the ads that are coming up are, "Jamestown and Yorktown - www.historyisfun.org"

What the heck...Might need some more keywords, but I dont know where you can put them on a forum!

Help

It's a dilemma. It might help if your page titles are very specific and you have blurb box on each page (somewhere discreet) about the purpose of the site. You'll have to experiment around a bit but it's possible to get most ads displaying relevant content. We had a similar issue with a Google gadget but most of th time it's displaying relevant ads.

Not a dumb question.

A "blurb" is just some text. Wha I mean to say is: have some sort of "blurb" such as: "The xyz Forum, where industry experts on blah blah come to meet and exchange ideas about blah blah..etc."

Just an idea to get some relevant text on all pages.

The ad on my homepage is fine, but like I said every one of my forum threads have a google ad afte the first post, but EVERYONE of them have the same stupid ad!!!!!

Google doesn't really pay attention to your <meta>'s - they'll take a close look at the page titles and the text content. They don't place much emphasis on 'alt' attributes either but it couldn't hurt to take say a header image that appears on all pages and put an alt="php forum" (or something far more specific to your site)

I also have a blog about php myphpsource.blogspot.com , the most of ads are not related to php, but I understand that google adwords/adsense don't have enough of related ads, and this is why I don't see ads about php, and also ads are very low paid per click : $0.02 !

You may search in google for "php" , "php source" , "php scripts" and you will see that there are only organic results, no ads in the right or top of the search page, so there are no ads about php currently, so can't display related ads in my blog and your website.
if you search for "web hosting" you will see many of ads, so if your website is about web hosting, you will get the best paid related ads !

I still not expert in adsense, so may be experts in this forum can comment about what I said
