So what you are saying is that you have ONLY used adsense, and that you have found yourself qualified to say that adsense is vaster and stronger than the other networks and programmes, none of which you have any experience of and are relying on hearsay? Well that's mighty dangerous thinking.
FYI adsense banned me on monday and by thursday I had rediscovered that the major stronger longer affiliate networks (affil window, cj, and no doubt a bunch of big ones that others use... just never any affiliate network which does ebooks - those ones are clearly a bunch of arse) are paying me much more for the same traffic. Much much more.
So really, the strongest, longest, best solution is someone like Commission Junction, who will only ever advertise the big names and brands on your pages, never the millions of adverts of nobodies and fools who don't even have reliable ways of keeping their income from it consistent.
Not that adsense isn't the most popular and easy and instant-money method there is - but its revenue for the actual user is clearly as low as a fifth of what you can make out on the affiliate networks if you're good enough - the upper limit on google is too low and the reason is probably that google get to keep a hell of a lot of profit which in other networks the users get...
think about the publisher - google's ad system favours the advertiser's purse, by trying to keep the prices lower, and undercut the affiliate networks - so the publisher gets less
the affiliate networks favour the publisher's purse, wanting to have a total dominant control over the actual websites everywhere so that bluechips have no choice but to pay 2k a month in admin fees
logic demonstrates that the affiliate networks pay more than google
but don't trust logic, trust actual money - look at the average rpm on google and calculate the rpm on the affil networks
an example -
a high end site similar to gambling (not gambling since google hypocritically doesn't earn off the gambling and porn they send millions to)
on google you'll get, in pounds... maybe £1 at most, for a single click, at the top end
in the affiliate networks, the top end goes up to £2 to £4 for many sites, and google will never reach that high, and for the very top end of the top stuff on the networks, you can get £10 for a single click
google would never pay that to anyone - it would be pretty rare. it could not be, as it is on some affiliate networks, the average payout for a particular company
yep, £10 for 1 click... $20 a click.
don't let google waste your time
a better search engine is bound to show up, and then what have google got?
