I go out of my way to build original content for my websites that I happen to have adsense on. However the other day I came across a website, which I wont name in case someone complains about their violating googles tos, which was nothing more than a photoshoped image taking up everything above the fold. they sliced three little sections out of the picture and inserted adsense half banners. the way it was put together it looked like the sites navagation links, even I didn't notice it was an ad and clicked on one.
At the bottom of the page, below the fold, was a single paragraph with keywords describing what you would be looking for if you found this site. the kicker is that this domain has been registered since 1999, has a pr2, and 837 inbound links (mostly from a blog, most likely the owners)
I searched google and there is no definate description of content. However the site has no real information, no other outbound links (and in my view serves no purpose but to display google ads, which is a violation).
So does an original 800px wide photoshoped image count as content? it was a beautiful site, dont get me wrong, and it exploded my head with design possibilities, but I do not want to be in violation of the TOS.
Any ideas?
