If there was another nework that was equal I would jump in an instant.

Recently I recieved a 'take down' notice for adsense on a page that had the word Bukkake in relation to a highly suggestive billboard I photographed in Asia, written as a joke the Google censors issued me my 1 and only warning telling me next time I put adsense on an "adult page" they would ban my account.

Yet the F's allow Adwords ads like "Rainy city jacks - the washington gay jack off group" and "Male Douche - the hose you stick up your bum to cleanse and refresh"

I really don't like hypocrits

Personally I won't be adding Adsense to any new site now, will use other monetisation options.

Google is still top of the game for 2 reasons.

Firstly, the whole market is growing and there is a bigger cake. So new players isn't necessarily taking away Adsense's share of the cake. The new players might be growing faster but Google is growing too, look at their last quarter numbers.

Secondly, new players are coming in to fill niches that Adsense might not yet fill or do not want to fill. So we see webmasters going to the alternatives. New alternatives create new ideas for people to build on and so the the players are doing well. However the bulk of the Adsense publishers that are doing well with Adsense isn't changing as fast as those that didn't do well.
So essentially we see lots of changes and the edges but the core remains unchanged.

I make more cash running yieldmanager CPM banners with eCPM of 2 cents than with Adsense nowadays.
