I have a site where i never had much traffic however i was getting about 4-5 cents a click on adsense i then bought some traffic which primarily resided from turkey and my revenue dropped to about 2 cents a click. Now blind logic would tell me that this is a direct correlation, however i was wondering if anyone else experienced this or if this is just another complex algorithm of non converting traffic ?

Well I don't think foreign traffic even can see adsense. I think adsense only displays for US traffic, although I could be wrong. Also, it could be the type of content you have that is causing low paying ads. Is it a myspace site?

Buying traffic? Don't do that.

Foreign traffic usually comes through pop-unders.

1. they don't stay long
2. they usually don't click on anything

My money per click dropped when I bought traffic, chose not to do it again!

Buying traffic is a bad idea.

There are tons of adsense ads targetted for "foriegn" traffic.

It's YPN who are completely against foriegn traffic and can ban publishers because non Americans have clicked their ads.

Don't buy traffic, traffic you buy is popunder garbage.

It's better to buy link than traffic.
