Hi,
I have couple of websites and I display google text ads on them. I was adding images to the left of my google ads to make them more attractive.

Now I got this email from google-support that this is in violation (I am new and did not knew) this. so they gave me 3 days to remove or else they will stop displaying ad on that site.

Now I have removed the images from that site but not all as they only referrred to one particular site.

1 - Should I remove it from all of my sites?

2- My CTR is going down, what else can I do to improve?

3- What are google ads with text and image ? can somebody show me an example?

The method that you are doing is a technique from Joel Comm. not sure of the new policy but in the old one, you have to display a black rectangle around your images to differentiate it from google ads.

I abandon google adsense long time ago...

They have a system in place which takes care of all the guidelines. So you have to follow the lines drawn by Google.

Removed all images and CTR/ePCM is down the drain. It is at such a point that there is no ROI between the cost of producing the content and adsense revenue.

Could you mention some of the alternative contextual network? As placing the images can only keep me in business or I am out.

Out meaning this is the only way you can get visitor to click on teh ads? If so, you might want to think about the type of site you have and if its profitable. You should be able to do ok with out tricking your users to clicking ads (although thats the easiest way to boost your sales AND possibly get term'ed from these type of programs.)
