I have an article section on one of my sites. One of the pages gets a lot of traffic coming in due to yahoo adverts (overture).
I am getting ready to change it over but if I do say so myself, this seems to be a bit of a stretch in regards to Adsense terms.
Goog seems to want you to blend as much as possible even including allowing you to change all fonts to adsense fonts.

I'd like to know if people think this will be in violation of TOS.
I've clearly marked that the middle section are the articles but...well..you get the idea

There's no content on that page. It's very misleading.

You are trying to trick users into thinking the ads are content. That is evil. Remember that the average user will not be able to differentiate the ads from the content.

How is it any different than including a blended adsense block at the beginning of the article content? There _is_ content on the page, the right hand column are all legitimate articles, only the left hand column are ads. Looks like a brilliant blending job to me. I don't know what Google would say, I'm guessing this might be borderline but I don't see any outrageous violations of the TOS or anything...

just an update, Google said it was a no go. However the said it was due to my content looking exactly like the adsense. Which is odd because I thought you were able to. I'll tweak it and see if the big G in the sky will approve.
Bummer too....was thinking I'd nab a few extra clicks with it.

More than a few methinks. I'm not surprised they said no. Users can hardly tell the difference between the ads and the links.
