-----I am using AdSense-----
-----A link to the site can be found in my sig-----

I am almost 5 days into my first website for monetization purposes.

Acording to adsense I have had 1032 impressions (analytics says 1500) and only 30 clicks making a grand total of ~$2.50.

Those figures translate into
~2% CTR
~$.08 / click

I did the best on Friday (the launch) with 301 views and 8 clicks for $1.16
~2.5% CTR
~$.14 / click

That day my ads were displaying information mostly relating to individual guitars and guitar sales.

Since then my ad content has been shifted more toward guitar lessons and the last few days my clicks have been very low.

So in an attempt to get my ads back to where they used to be I added a long list of guitar terms that were in the previous ads to my site and made them invisible.

What do you think about that ?

Secondly, I wanted to ask what you thought of the ad placement I am currently using. I changed the colors to try and make them stand out more but I don't know if that was a good Idea.

What are you thoughts on that ?

And finally are there any other things you think I should know ?

That is keyword stuffing and unless I am mistaken is against the Adsense TOS.

You can always go into adsense and block advertisers whose ads don't convert well or don't relate to your site. I'd keep all of this in mind when writing your copy though.
