Besides the usual methods (blending ads, using the heatmap, etc) wanted to find out what other ways you guys have found that improves the CTR on your google ads. I'm not talking about tricking people into thinking they're part of the site, but other tips that have helped you. For instance, I recently placed a 234x60 ad directly above my first post on my blog, and it's increased the page's CTR by almost 1% (it gets a lot of traffic, so that's a good thing :thumbup: ).

Put relevant pictures beside ads.

for blogs i have found best placement to be between title and text with 300x300 block.

You can blend the ads into your content.
