My adsense shows 11 clicks and I am not even making 50 cents . Are any of you guys using anything other than adsense?

I have heard that YPN pays better but I cannot say myself as I have not been accepted yet. Just wait untill your clicks are all worth less than two cents then you will really love it lol. I had about a week on my myspace site where it was all one and two cent clicks. Now I am back up to the average for my myspace site.

Thanks for your reply, I have been getting a decent amount 3 days ago. Around 6 clicks = 1.18. But now its less than 5 cents per click. Did you do anything to your site to get it back to normal? I have also applied for YPN multiple times but I have never received any response.

ypn is def better but CPA make more money. azoogleads,maxbounty etc

YPN makes me more money per click than Adsense. The only problem is getting it on a site where the ads are really targeted.

Work on your traffic instead of counting your clicks

Having your own product is miles better. Then you can count sales instead of clicks

no kidding, even if each click was $0.50 you would still on be 5% of the way to payout. just listen to fryman, then the money will come.

AdSense seems to work better on targeted sites; YPN seems to work better on untargeted sites.

There arent too many good alternatives to Adsense. Affiliate programs can have a higher payout but you will have to work much harder to sell them.

I dont expect much off 11 clicks but this is starting to get ridiculous. I just got 35 clicks and barely made a dollar. Is this what all of you guys have been getting. I have spent money advertising with adwords but the cost for adwords to adsense is 3:1. I pay 3 times more for advertising then earning.

The amount you're paid depends largely on the keywords and subject of the ads. If it's something rubbish like "pet litter trays", don't expect much return.

Are you just trying some arbitrage -- i.e., buying cheap PPC traffic to Made For AdSense pages? If so, you're probably been "smart priced" by Google.

11 clicks is just TOO low for you to judge anything. Try and get more traffic.

YPN is better on some of my sites and AdSense is better on others. YPN is only good if the pages you've got the ads on have lots of keywords relevant to what you want the advertising to be about. YPN won't figure out what your whole site is about and serve ads based on that like AdSense can.

AdSense is the best contextual network at the time. It is my opinion. YPN can probably generate you more income, but it is much more limited (US traffic, etc) and not open for many webmasters

you need to be getting more traffic, you can use ppc, viral, myspace etc etc.

if your breaking even on adwords test and tweak different things and words and headlines phrasing that will give some really good results, well you should go from breaking even to or just over to making some nice handsome profits.

get your keywords down to really target the right people too. hope this helps.

I haven't used YPN, but this is generally what I understand as well..
