Well, forums are pretty new but they are getting about 100 uniques a day. For the past month or so I have been making about $4-7 a day from adsense.

I then switched styles to my current one last week, and in that time Ive made maybe $2...

The website is http://www.AWDForums.com

If somone could let me know some diff. ways of arranging them that would be cool. Ive tried adding borders/colors to them also, but blending them w/the bg is the only way I will get clicks

Thanks,
Casey

My first suggestion would be for the bottom ads - put the pictures above the ads. I think it would look much more appealing and garner a higher CTR.

As for the top ads... I'd be tempted to ditch the small picture you have and place another block there instead. That way you'd have 4 ads across the top of the page.

Wish my forum could make money. Like 2000 uniques per day and between 50 cents and $1 from AdSense heh

Maybe I can sell some links on it after the site and forum has been redesigned later this year.

Here are my tips... first off, get rid of the "Support our website" text. It is against TOS and will get you booted if you ever do make any money.

Second, it doesnt look like you have the ads in places that people will click. Maybe experiment with dropping the banner and going two deep with the skyscraper on the left. Also, a link unit across the top might be nice for you.

I would try to change the link color of the ads from that blue to the charcoal gray that you use for all your other links. Right now, only your ads are blue. Every other link is dark gray. That makes the ads stick out like a sore thumb. Your users are used to clicking the dark colored links. Try making the ads the same color. I'd also try to make the url at the bottom of the ads the same color.

Finally, I would get a dashboard from Crazy Egg and let it run for a few weeks. Then, go look up the hot spots that it detects for you. Find the most clicked areas, and put the ads right there.

I used these methods to go from < 0.2% CTR to > 4%. I hope its helpful to you.
