Just wanted to share a bit of good news with everyone. I just passed my first $100 for adsense. I officially started with adsnse on the 23rd of September, and my goal was to hit $100 within 30 days. I did it! I know that's chump change to a lot of you big earners, but I'm quite happy.

When I started out, I had no idea how adsense worked. But, using a lot of the tips here, I've been able to build up my sites so that I've gone from NO traffic at all to over 10,000 uniques in my first month. I'm still not indexed much, so I expect this to grow as my sites become visible in the search engines.

Thanks to xboxundone, I've recently started gearing up to enter into CPA. I hope to have similar results. But I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the many helpful articles and words of advice. It's going to feel good to get that first check from google in the mail. Hopefully, its just the first of many.

Congrats on the check. I'm also new to web dev/adsense, and in the 3 weeks my site has been active, I've only made about $7...any tips on building traffic would be great, I need all the info I can get.

I got mine in about 7-10 days. You should email them if it has been longer than that.

Congratulations. I remember when I reached my first $100. It was 3 months after I joined the program, which was around 3 years ago now I think. It then took 2 months to reach the next one thereafter and then I was reaching it monthly thereafter that and so far I have had a monthly check ever since.

Congratulations. Make sure to do direct deposit if you can, they wire it directly to your account.

The first check is the best feeling, again, congratulations!

Now very carefully keep track of all your stats and the changes you make to your site(s) and watch the results - use this info to maximise your earnings - then test and measure, test and measure, test and measure....

yes i am such a big beliver in testing. John reese is one of the best testers and measurer's I have seen..he is a mad testers, because he understands that testing is the differenece between making a average income online, or make a living online.
