Hi all,

i posted here a while back asking for some help as to why moy site wasn't generating any clicks. Since then it has become quite popular and how has a steady streem of visitors.

In the last 7 days (not including today) there has been 41 clicks, its generated only $3.30

Is there anything i can do to increase the revenue per click? The page impressions was 3,882 - is this the cause for such low revenue?

Thanks for your time.

Rick

You could also some tricks to blend your adsense ads in the design of your website. Try to emulate some successful adsense sites.

I just checked your website. Man you won't get any adsense clicks like this. Blend your adsense into your page, use the same colors for the background. Put an adsense category unit over your menu. You could use alot of adsense blending and merging optimization and quadruple your clicks.

Think about adsense income sharing with your members.
It force them to post and click

I had it on my site but as they dont allow adult content I had to remove it.

I just started trying adsense on one of my sites and I'm making less than a penny per click :P I don't know how anyone can stick with these pethetic rates.

We can stick with these rates, because we don't live in the US. That is why people are having tremendous success with CPA because it pays better that Adsense :P

Arcade and gaming sites won't make much per click. The idea is to bring a lot of traffic and then the little clicks add up.

Videogame websites are a dime a dozen, so there are more than enough sites to spread the ads out, and keep them low priced.

Just drive more traffic to your site and you will get most likely more clicks, but I wouldn't imagine you'd get many clicks over $2.00 each.

When you talk about the $ you earn per click, there isn't much you can do about it with a site because you've already picked the niche (which will generally dictate the value of the ads). All the blending stuff addresses the CTR, not the eCPM... not sure what advice anyone can give you with regards to pumping up eCPM.

It might be worth putting some more ads in the empty space down the bottom left - at least it looks empty in Firefox right now.....

Care to share what you are talking about? I hope you have a good reason as it seems your post is only here to either cause trouble or boost your post count. I am asking the community for some advice/tips on what i should do to make money out of the clicks im getting...that gives you cause for a poor/inappropriate post?

Guys (and gals) thanks for your tips, im aware there isn't huge money to be made with arcades, due to the volume of low paying clicks and the fact that arcade/game/entertainment sites come and go over night.

When i stated the site, i did always say to myself it was an experiment to see how much money could be made with an arcade that has had no paid advertising. So far its made $20 this month which i am reasonably satisfied with. All traffic has come from stumbleupon and a myspace profile with just over 5k friends and only 1 bulletin a week.

I did have AdEngage ads there, however they were generating so little i removed them. I've got a pack of 2500 games to add so im going to make a script that basicly adds X amount every 24 hours. I'll probably use that space to put info on either the next bunch of games to be added or the latest games added. As well as some kind of advert, maybe from either text-link-ads or adbrite.
