Ive been accepted to adsense with about 10 hits before, I dont think it matters on your hit level

Adsense are all about content, if you have some decent and nice content then you're in

really? i was waiting for the right time to apply coz i thought i should be getting a lot of traffic to be approved.

I was accepted back when I had almost no traffic, its all about content. You should definitely apply now, if you get rejected you can always try again later. Good luck

I applied with a nearly empty blogspot blog. maybe it was because of blogspot but not even content is that important...

Interesting. My site was not empty, I already had some content (including a web application), but I still got rejected by Adsense at first. After adding more pages to my site I was accepted. Perhaps it also depends on who reviews your site...
