I noticed my site gets clicks all day long, but during the evening they pretty much stop. My thought is that people overseas are not looking at my site at all.

Has anyone put into place any efforts to get traffic from overseas on a more regular basis? I guess I could localize into different languages, but that's a big hassle.

You should automatically get traffic from world wide, unless you are targeting for example the USA market or subject.

Even though I run my sites from the UK, and I get visitors from worldwide, most of my traffic is from America, there are a large number of surfers there.

I think that the adsense clock is a bit iffy personally.
Isn't during the evening when most people are on the internt anyway. Get some analytics software such as statcounter.com or google analytics - Then you can see where your visits are from.

Analytics software would certainlyhelp you figure out where people are coming from.

However, many people would also be surfing at work and may be more inclined to be in a buying mood ... also more adverts are likely running during those office hours.

So, lower clicks may be the result of both things - people get home but not in the buyin mood so just reading info etc AND advertisers turning off their campaigns after the work day finishes which will result in less ads - and likely less relevant adverts so overall less chance people would click due to not being as relevant.
