I have been experimenting with different sizes, with/without images etc but somehow it doesn't seem like I am doing it properly. Take a look at some of the ads placements please and let me know what you think.

Thanks a bunch!

Personally I think the 250x250 block is to over powering for your design layout. I'd suggest going with some smaller ad units. Then I'd work on making the ad units us the same colors as your site design. The default black text blue links stick out to much and scream ads.

just my opinion.

try swapping the ad and the text from left to right, alternating in each post

You've put the Ads right by your post, which doesn't look good. I would recommend you to change your Ad size (use a rectangle one) and put it above your posts. Use the same colors as your website for the Adlinks and blend it in with your website. This may not look good, but it is the only way I can think of to implement it in a blog. If you had longer blog posts and the full story was posted on the main page, I would definitely suggest you to place the Ads in between the middle of your blog posts. If possible, you should get your full layout re-designed instead of using a pre-made WordPress template. That way your blog would look better and you'd have better spots for placing Ads.

I would get rid of the images as links on the navbar and make them a certain color underlines and without bold. Then put an adsense link box there and i think it would do good. The images in front of the large block should only be four since there are only four ads max. Maybe even do two or three untill your adblocks start showing more ads.

Good Luck ~John
