I accidentely misspelled my first name, I can't change it either. How exactly am I supposed to cash my check at the bank if it's mispelled? Or how can I change it?

You have to email Google to get it changed.

Or change your legal name.

No they wont... I did it with my Yahoo check..

You have to e-mail/call google and have them send you out another one. They'll probably ask you to send yours back... pretty easy..

That just depends on the bank though. A friend of mine back then had the first letter of his first name on his Google check typoed and the bank still let him cash it.

Yeah some banks are really good - I had a paycheck from a company I used to work with not only get my name wrong (they changed the first letter of my surname from D to G on the thing), but they got the account number wrong too!

Bank sorted it all out though

Just deposit your check through ATM and see what happens. You can always cancel your check and ask Google to issue you a new one, but it's going to take probably 30 days.

Thanks, I emailed them first and asked them to change it, we'll see what happens. I think I didn't make myself clear, I don't actually have the check with me yet.

Heck I know for certain that my bank would cash it right away. Lol for that matter all I have to do is walk in and tell them I need money and they give it to me and they do the rest... No ID no account numbers just my signature! Lol the perks of knowing the tellers in a small town.

you can always request them to cancel the first check they sent you since it's not you and let them re-issue another one with the correct one but you have to pay some money.
