Is it the site in you sig?

If so then I'd use the 728x60 link element with 4 links in the top. And I'd move it 10 pixels down.

I'd user the 250x250 adsense layouts instead of 300x250, so that the text size would better match the one of your website.

I'd put an 250x250 adsense block between post and comments instead of only one after the comments.

And then don't be affraid to use up to three adsense blocks, which you're allowed implement. How about a 120x600 under your alexa rank.

Just some quick ideas since I haven't tried optimizing for such wordpress themes.

I would place the ad blocks in a floating div, so the text will be next to the ad..

the floating div could be like this:

<div style="float: right;">
<ADSENSE_SCRIPT>
</div>
<p>bla bla bla... here goes the content</p>

so, normally... what's the best place to place ads?

Ads between posts and comment box would be good... Ads (link ads) below the banner could be good too right?

hi guys,

I have been surfing around some great adsense sites and I found ProBlogger.net's adsense style is quite unique...

Problogger puts a tiny adsense ads close to the text of the article...

Is that the floating div too?

Yup, he's using the 120x240 unit I believe and floating it to the right of his content. :detective:

As you can see in his source:

Code:
<div style="float:right;margin-top:0px;margin-left:3px;">
HIS ADSENSE CODE HERE
</div>

600 Clicks = 100$ with google adsense but It could increase depending on your site major keywords.
