So I'm really starting to get pissed with adsense. I've been consistently getting 20+ clicks a day now and still am hitting on like 2-3$ a day ... sometimes $4.

I know yahoo's ads aren't well targeted but surely I can make more than $2-3 even with half the clicks.

What should I do? Make the switch or stay with google?

Have you tried blocking some advertisers? The low paying ones to start off with.

my average rpc is around 20 cents. you're right there...

that's what adsense pays unless you are in a stupid competive niche.

if you want more money, get more traffic, more content, and more clicks.

blocking sites won't do a **** thing for you.
google is designed to display the highest available ads first. if you block ads, you'll only get lower paying ones.

I just did a post on blocking the low pay advertisers.

Basically you just add their url to Adsense's filter list.

I did not notice any change after adding them to the filter. In fact the last few days have been exceptionally LOWER!

Could it be that Adsense is adjusting their rate?

@lithman:
Consider yourself in the average band. I've seen some 20+ click and getting something like 50c.
Some say smartpricing and some say uncompetitive niche. Is this trend of yours consistent or is it happening to you lately?

This is pretty much how it is. I have one site that gets excellent ratesd at like .50 per click. But I'll only get like 1 click a day maybe. It's just the way its been, I just have either been too lazy to switch to yahoo or too scared because their ads aren't well targeted. But I do have a ypn account with my name on it... I think tonight I might make the switch.

I'm hitting $2.xx with 6x clicks. I'm not complaining. Why? Because I count my blessings instead of whining. Consider yourself lucky dude.

I'm "suffering" this low pay-per-click rate on one of my blogs as well. There is one way to solve this problem, but i don't want to get in too much trouble by suggesting it publicly, PM me if you want it.

Although on one of my other sites I got a few 0c ones yesterday, and the rest of the clicks were like 5c

What is the quality of the content on those pages? Is it like an index or full length articles?

Are your articles all targeted toward the same niche?
