So I think i get it. This site mostly is for clicks or ads or anything that generates money on websites, with or without expressly providing a product or service?

Currently I have a blog the-reviews.livejournal.com that I write movie reviews on, this is mostly for my friends and such, I have never thought about branching it out to make money. Would this be something any of you would make your own blog and then put ads on and such? Instead of doing it through Live Journal?

I also am going to open a internet service site. That will generate money from the service I provide. Would you put ads on this site as well? That would take you away from the site and the service, but is linked in with the digital photo business? Would you use adsence?

with any sites you're not selling products or services on, adsense should be fine. Because if a visitor is gonna leave the site, they're gonna leave, you might as well try and make some money by them clicking on an ad to leave.

On your internet service site, if you think you will be making a fair amount of money, you don't want to have adsense, because you'll make a small amount of money in comparison to the money you could be making off of a "real sale". But that's still an iffy subject, because some would say, leave the adsense there, because anyone who would click on it obviously isn't too interested in the service anyway.

If your product is good, i would put all of my effort into making the product sale, and not worry about supplementary income from ads. If its not so good, but you get lots of traffic, monetize with advertising.
