I decided to put Google Picasa referral ads on my file host site, instead of Adsense PPC ads. Do you think this was a good idea? have you made good money off of Google referrals or is it a waste? Thanks.
Many people use google referrals and make tons of loot. I haven't myself, but I'm not sure about the picasa stuff. I'm would guess that the best accounts to refer through google would be adsense and adwords clients. Anyone else have thoughts about this?
I've tried AdSense and Firefox referrals on my site.... the AdSense one I didn't run long enough at the time to get results (needed the space for something else at the time) and the Firefox one, though I don't push it hard enough, only did about $1 for me so far haha... well could be because my sites actually have as many or more Firefox users than IE
I'm planning to work more referrals into the site though soon, I'll let you know how it goes.
I've not heard of anyone have success with the referral ads. I suppose it would only work if your site was highly related to Adsense, Firefox, or Picasa itself.
wow, i use the referrals too, all over my sites, i've made about a total of $10 from all of them, google pack, firefox, and picasa, google pack sells the most cuz it contains firefox and picasa and more
