Luke from AdsensePlanet gave me the domainname 'online-email-marketing.info'
and I promised him to share my plans and actions for this domain.

So today I decided what to do with the domain:

Test what ad integration works best, working with the AdRotator script

I will set up 4 pages on www.online-email-marketing.info ; 1 landing page and 3 pages where I will link to in the 3 content blocks of the AdRotator.
I will test what works the best for this rotator;
- background colors
- link colors
- link unit at top or bottom
- etc. etc.

I will change things from time to time and report back here how things are going. (and a little less frequently on my SEO Blog)

And not unimportant; I will also test some SEO ideas and skills by trying to optimize the site for 'email marketing' (532.000.000 hits in google), which will be a very tough job...

So, today I setup 1 page with the AdRotator
and some text.
For a start I'm trying soft blue as background, black text and the 'standard blue' links..

I made the 3 dir's and put index pages there, to avoid 404's and duplicate content.

I setup 2 channels for this site in AdSense; one for the text ads and one for the link unit.

that's all for today..
tomorrow I will ad stats, probably do some first promotion here and there, etc.

You might want to make the "real" links in the ad rotator clickable in the same was as the google ads.

I.e. for the google adds I can click anywhere, but for your content I need to click on the "Read mooooore" link etc.

yeah I know, but hey, I got the DN for free so I found it quite a challenge to try and to this with a DN that was given to me

The domain was used for no more then a few weeks as a test site for a new scraper website software a friend sent me. Obvioulsy in the time I left the website up It's done rather well and givin Itself a pagerank of 3. The domain has been unused for a while now and It seems to still be indexed in google. I can honestly say these only be good things. Goodluck with the website I'm sure you'll do well.

Added /automaticemailmarketingrespondersoftware and /emailinternetmarketingmass/ as 301 redirects to the .htaccess

Yahoo and Google both still had 1 page indexed...

added some content to all the pages in fear of Google saying this is a 'Made for Adsense' site and banning me...

It showed me that this is a good subject, and it gave me hope and motivation to continue my quest to rank well on email marketing.

A note to everyone about the bid data (for those who don't know). That bid data is provided by Yahoo Search Marketing, and only for Sponsored Search. Hence, those numbers will not exactly match the Content Match bids (for YPN publishers) and certainly won't exactly match AdSense bids. Furthermore, not all bidders choose to offer their ads to publishers, so not all advertiser bids you see will even be available to you.

Mad a small alteration to the AdRotator script:

Changed: Read Moooooore into Go to [destination]

AdSense ToS demands that there is a clear distinction between content and ads, so I was a little afraid of being banned for violating the ToS if I'd left Read Mooooooorde in there, as it clearly aims to look like the Ads by Goooooogle sentence...

yes.. the ToS forbids me to say exactly how many, but lets say I got one more piece of evidence that your estimate was a bit to high, but not far of

I made no real updates. No clicks but no real visitors either.
Will do some more link building and some updates to keep the spiders happy;

Google, MSN and Yahoo! indexed the homepage now, but nothing more yet.
But this is not bad at all, since the only links a made, are on fora and in comments of weblogs...
