Maybe they don't allow you :P. They tend to tell different publisher different things.

hey all,

Im playing around with the script of ForgottenCreature to make it easier to use it:
I'm making it so that everything is set by variables, and you only have to specify once what kind of colors you want for background, links, title, text etc.

I'm now to the point that I could use some help, as I'm not really good with CSS, and I can't seem to be able to match it 100% with adsense.
So any help would be appreciated!

the script can be found here:
www.seo-portal.com/adrotate.txt
and this is the result:
www.seo-portal.com/adrotate.php

NO, they willl not think that. They do not for me and I have a site that gets 20-40% click rate. sorry I will not give out the url but click through is all in the site design and layout. the site I am talking about the adsense is on top just under the header photo and there is simply nothing else to click on. there is also an adsense link menu under the header photo but nothing else no nav menu - NOTHING. If the visitor wants to click out he MUST use the ads or link menu and since they are after all relevent to the page content it works and I get well above the norm for click through rate. the site design was a test really. the colors are all muted and soft and the adsense ad headlines are bright blue [normal default link blue] and are the most visable thing on the page as far as color. even the page text is softened and is dark gray. I do not normally build a site like that without menu etc. remember it was a test but it does well. the header photo is clickable and takes you to a site map [the index page] so the se's are sure to index the whole site.

the site does not get lots of traffic but it does really well for the traffic it does get.

The thing I like the most about it, is the way they try to mask the adsense ad unit. They display the ad unit most people use and try to mask as content, but he lines up 4 images (1 image per ad) to the left of the ad unit kind of masking it and making it look more like site navigation. Very good trick that I'm going to implement immediately.

I first saw that same script here: http://www.myspacelot.com
Very nice of you to create that little script ForgottenCreature, and SEO Portal for editing it.

Yup, It's pretty good integration. I'm going to be putting together some more ad units like such and I'll definitely report here when I get it done
