I'm still new to this really, but I can finally say I made my first 100.00 after 3 months of hard work!

I think i'm finally starting to get the picture. I just have a question for those who are say, averaging 100.00 per month or more..

Using this tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

When you type in the keyword, you get to see the search volume, advertiser competition - which makes sense. I just have one question...

When it comes to the Calculate Estimates using Max CPC - what do you generally write in there as an average estimate? As an Adsense publisher that is - not as an Adwords person.

If someone can give me this little tip it would be appreciated, thanks

The max CPC is just an estimate, it goes over historical data for the keyword on what adword advertisers have paid.

Yes, but what would you consider a good judge when checking keywords? 1.00? 10.00 what?

I see the difference between a high valued one and a low valued one - the question is - how much do you enter here to get a realistic average value?

I go with mid-range, also trends.google.com is a great tool to compare search volume for keywords

I've been doing a little "research". I have a what I can consider now successful site and for the top keyword there, the average CPC is 0.50

They say, stick with something you know about / are passionate about, so I'm considering another topic on something that I know about a lot - and have a lot of passion. For the top keyword there for example, the averages are about 1.50 - 2.00.

Hypothetically, if the 2nd site i work on becomes as successful as the first, i should be able to bring in 3 times the amount on the same average of clicks correct?
