It seems the more click-throughs I get, the less revenue. Is Google trying to keep payouts down? Is anybody else having this problem?

You should use the AdSense Preview Tool and go over the ads being displayed on your site, many of them are probably low paying TLA and MFA sites that pay nothing. Weed them out and you'll find your real earning ability

Agree. In most cases. if I have more clicks, the CPM is down.

No, that's false information, because Adsense automatically displays the highest paying ads first.

I've heard that said many times but I don't believe it. It doesn't make sense. If they ALWAYS showed the high paying ones first, then the low paying ones would never come up.

I've never done any real research on this (so I could be talking out of my arse), but it does seem like the more clicks you get the lower the payout seems to be.
