The page doesn't say when it was written (probably around Google's IPO), but I think some of the information is interesting and more current than historical. What do you guys think? Here it is:
One of the reasons Adsense gives such a high payout is because of the competition between advertisers on it. Companies make millions through customers who click through via google so it makes sense to pay to get good placements.
