AdSense will soon be changing how ads can be "clicked". The background of a text ad will no longer take users to the advertiser's site. Only clicking on the Link or Title in an ad will take a user through.
I read about this yasterday (cannot remember where) so I cannot confirm if this is true and what the source was. If it is true, I suspect this will decrease "accidental clicks" and save Google money.
That's not bad at all. Doing it will make ads look even more as a part of content. But I don't wanna joy before it goes official. From what I see on their blog, there's no a single word about it
I cant see how it would make much difference to be honest !

The difference is, less accidental clicks which means less money for AdSense users, and less payout for AdWords users. This could increase new AdWord users making Google more revenue. Happy users = more revenue
My revenue is droped more than 75% after the change.
