hello, i'm over the age of 18 and running adsense on my site.

question: i haven't filledout adsense w-9 forum as of feb. of this year, am receiving checks from adsense every month and they show no tax deduction! i'm in USA. i don't have alot of money on adsense. question is when they will start to require me to fill out the w-9 and start to deduct money from my pay. do you have to make certain amount each month or have to exceed certain thousands of dollars before the deduct tax, and social, and medicate taxes. i don't collect taxes at the end of the year, so can i just not file for taxes with adsense! i also e-mailed them about this and haven't got a reply in a week. so decided to ask you guy to get an heads up.

well, i'm unmaried, no childeran and a full time student! when i used t work locally, i put down exempt from federal and state taxes, but had to pay social ad medicate. does that help. can i still do that or not. how is that a benifit or gonna hurt me in long run. thanks

Adsense will not take out taxes. you are an independent worker and respnsable for your own taxes. If you make over something like 600 dollars from adsense they will report your earnings to the IRS. Regardless you are responsable to pay taxes on your income from google. The good news is you do have deductions you can take. The cost of hosting, domains, software, advertising, printer inc, hardware. If you are serious about making money online you should look at starting a company for that purpose and get an FEIN. Google may report all income made to the IRS even if it's under the 600 dollar mark but you would have to check with them on that. At the same time it does not matter because as a Us citizen you should pay your taxes.
